LAN NETWORK AND INTERNET CONNECTIVITY:-

Raj Bhavan, Gujarat is fully computerized since 2001. All the officers and employees have their own computers. The computers are connected with each other through Local Area Network. Raj Bhavan is also connected with the Gujarat State Wide Area Network (GSWAN) which was established by the Government of Gujarat. Internet connectivity through Lease line has been provided by the GSWAN.

RAJ BHAVAN APPLICATION (as a part of Paperless Technology):-

Raj Bhavan is preparing towards the paperless technology by developing the applications for the daily routine works. M/s Applitech Solution Limited (Total Solution Party) is developing application for Raj Bhavan Office.

M/s Applitech Solution Limited has developed the application as per the information given by the Officer's of the Raj Bhavan. The motto of preparing the application is to save time, manpower and stationery. This application increases the working efficiency of the employees. The following modules have already been developed and are to be implemented in the day-to-day functioning of the Raj Bhavan at the earliest.

•  Registry (Inward & Outward)

•  Library

•  University

•  Establishment (with Employees Personal Information)

•  Store

•  House Section

•  Engagement & Tour etc.

•  EIS, [Employees Information System]

COMPUTER LITERACY:-

All the administrative officers and employees of the Raj Bhavan Secretariat are computer literate. All the users are trained (as per the Module fixed by the Government Resolution).

COMPUTER HARDWARE AND PERIPHERALS:- ND PERIPHERALS

All the officer's and employees are provided Computers. Raj Bhavan has two VVIP suites for the stay of the dignitaries visiting Gujarat State i.e. H..E the President of India, Hon. Prime Minister of India, Home Minister of India etc. Both the VVIP suites were also provided Computers, Printers with Internet connectivity.

The Raj Bhavan has the following Computer Peripherals and equipments.

•  Laptop 1

•  Projectors 2 (still to be procured by the GIL)

Raj Bhavan has also initiated procedure for purchase of a Kiosk, to be installed at the main Pouch, which may be seen by all the persons visiting Raj Bhavan. This Kiosk will display relevant information about the Gujarat Raj Bhavan as well as the Gujarat State.
